JOE BOVINO

Joe Bovino is an attorney, writer, and cultural anthropologist with over 20 years of practical experience in multimedia entertainment transactions, immigration law, intellectual property (IP) management and protection, and complex business litigation.

Mr. Bovino is the principal and founder of Bovino Law Firm. His past legal experience includes: Sr. VP, Business and Legal Affairs for Hollywood Studios International; Outside General Counsel for Doc Hollywood Studios and Bop City Records; International Licensing Consultant to the State of California’s Office of Strategic Technology, LARTA Institute, California State University Institute, the Bay Area Regional Technology Alliance, and Global Connection; Anti-Counterfeiting and Piracy Attorney for brand name companies at Richland & Associates and TAG24; Director of Business Development for the Patent & License Exchange, a leading provider of Web-based IP valuation, marketing and monetization products; Senior Counsel at Ernst & Young; Litigation Associate at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, a top California law firm; and Analyst for IPD Analytics, an IP consultancy serving institutional investors.

Joe is skilled writer, speaker, and singer. He appears in extreme home fitness videos and infomercials for P90X. He also co-owns Lincoln Road Pictures, a Miami-based feature film and TV production company.

Mr. Bovino received his J.D. and M.A. (international relations) from the University of Southern California in 1989 and is admitted to practice law in California, Florida, and Washington, D.C.
